My Experiences
With over four years of experience at Layered Lounge, I’ve had the opportunity to grow creatively while working closely with the art director—assisting in styling, developing Photoshop visuals, and designing festive wrapping paper. I’ve also taken part in live briefs with industry leaders such as Sainsbury’s and Ashley Wilde, where I contributed to concept development and presented final interior design collections. These experiences have shaped my design approach and strengthened my skills in both creative collaboration and commercial design.

Soundscapes
In my Earth’s Reflections final major project, I explored the use of soundscapes to enhance the sensory experience of my collection. Inspired by natural rhythms and environments, I layered ambient sounds to reflect the mood and textures of my visual work—creating a deeper connection between material, colour, and atmosphere. This multisensory approach helped bring the concept to life in a more immersive way.
Projection
In my Earth’s Reflections final major project, I used projection as a tool to expand my marbling experiments into immersive visuals. By projecting my designs onto walls, I was able to explore scale, colour, and texture in a new light—translating intricate patterns into bold, atmospheric compositions that shaped the direction of my final collection.
Marbling
Marbling has been a key technique in my Earth’s Reflections final major project, allowing me to explore organic movement and fluidity through pattern. I experimented with layering colours and manipulating ink flow to reflect natural elements, then developed these into digital prints and projections to form the foundation of my collection.
